As the 2017 InLiquid Benefit approaches, we are excited to showcase the exclusive pieces to be sold at our silent auction. In preparation for our VIP Night we encourage collectors, both seasoned and new, to celebrate art, community, and their city while supporting their local arts organizations, such as InLiquid.
Reminiscent of a Renaissance portrait, enhance your collection with this digital print by internationally acclaimed Photographer Dominic Episcopo. With lighting and shadow elements that create a “chiaroscuro” effect, Untitled (Chickens 1) is a high definition print that resembles a painting, making it an elegant addition to any home, office, or studio. Dominic describes this work as “immortalizing the animal’s life and beauty. The one chicken that makes it into a work of art –that is then prized, studied and enjoyed — is no more wasted than if eaten. We are representing all the birds killed and eaten and our image pays tribute to the life, sacrifice and contribution to the food chain or even the cycle of life that we all are a part of,”
A current resident of Philadelphia, Photographer Dominic Episcopo is an artist that is recognized worldwide for his lifestyle and food photography. He has a wide breadth of work, ranging from photographs of models and musicians for advertisement campaigns, and even cinematography for commercial branding. His photographs of food have been included in cookbooks and culinary editorial publications. You can learn more about his portfolio by visiting his site.
