Spark Therapeutics partnered with InLiquid to find an artist capable of portraying the business’s mission, as well as remaining true to the locality of the neighborhood.

In partnership with Spark Therapeutics, a Philadelphia-based gene therapy startup, InLiquid was able to mediate the creation of this mural, even through the pandemic; and the result is Serena Saunders’s stunning 32-by-13.8-feet mural. After deciding she wanted to take on the passion project of creating a mural, West Philadelphia artist Serena Saunders was able to collaborate with InLiquid, bringing new life and a fresh coat of Art to the Bulletin Building off of the 30th Street Station.
This mural, The Path, is available for viewing at the Bulletin Building in West Philadelphia alongside a mural by Alloyius Mcilwaine. Saunders and InLiquid’s partnership with Spark Therapeutics was recently featured in an article on whyy.org!
