PAFA acquires part of Nicholas Kripal’s Contrivance Series

Thanks to board member Ralph Citino, PaFA has acquired three of Nicholas Kripal‘s Contrivance Series to be a part of their permanent collection.
“PAFA was really excited that due to Ralph Citino’s generosity, we were able to acquire these important pieces by this really beloved and important Philadelphia artist,” according to Jodi Throckmorton, PaFA’s curator of contemporary art. The pieces were acquired after a June Collections Committee meeting where the committee voted to approve the acquisition.
