ABOUT MINUTE FESTS
Quarantine keeping you too deep in your comfort zone? Looking to share & explore new & live action?

Vox Populi’s Black Box Committee invites YOU to perform as part of their upcoming 1-Minute, 3-Minute and 5-Minute Fests!

Each festival will feature dozens of performers sharing work that falls within each allotted time-frame during salon-style streamings events on Twitch! All time-based actions* are welcome: music, movement, sound, poetry, you name it!

While Vox loves the ephemeral thrill of live performance, if submitting a pre-recorded video is more your jam – that’s cool, too! Either format is welcome!

Learn more at Vox Populi’s website here.

My artwork talks quietly about the underlying significance of the domestic sphere on artist production. It argues for the relevance of craft, specifically ceramics and fiber arts, by creating a conversation between the two mediums. Displaying a fascination with the way fiber marks clay, my ceramics exhibit just how subtle those marks can be.

Trillo’s photographs have been featured in several major press outlets - and was recently selected Best Series in the Black and White International Awards. She studied in Italy and Philadelphia, and her work has been shown in solo, and group exhibitions. Trillo lectures at conferences and universities, regarding women’s issues and human trafficking.
