Art in City Hall: Ethereal/Material
This Deadline Expired: Monday, September 10, 2018
The City’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE) issues a call for Ethereal/Material, an upcoming fall exhibition coinciding with the 28th International Sculpture Conference. Ethereal/Material is open for sculpture in traditional, as well as new media forms, including (but not limited to) digital-based virtual reality, fiber, glass, mixed media, and works that explore, challenge or inform three-dimensionality in space.
The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1960 to champion the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. Members include sculptors, collectors, patrons, architects, developers, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, foundries, galleries, and museums—anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture.
This year’s ISC conference, Defining Moments in the Face of Change, will take place from October 25 – 28, 2018
