CICA Museum invites creative writers, scholars, and artists worldwide to participate in “Art Teleported 2023,” the Art Show and Conference for Nomadic Artists. The conference will be held on January 21 – 22, 2023. Depending on the global pandemic situation, the conference may be held both onsite and online.

Through Project Art Teleported, CICA aims to create a global network among nomadic artists, designers, audiences, and communities and promote understanding and appreciation of each other, so they can make, share, appreciate, and live in art in any region and culture.

The artists will be featured in the book “New Media Art 2024,” expected to be published in December 2023. The book will be available in major bookstores in Korea, and in the United States and other countries via Kindle.

My art is a psychological diary of my personal translation of the individual’s journey through life. It is a kind of fairytale; a story that teaches, both symbolic and narrative.

My work is primarily in oils and focuses on urban street scenes and still life settings made up of vintage housewares and toys. I am interested in all things old as I believe they have the most interesting stories to tell. Buildings and objects from the past both bring back memories for those who have previously interacted with them, and discovery to those seeing them for the first time. I work in a contemporary realist style, looking to bring to attention the beautiful design elements that already exist in the subjects that I paint.
