Are you or do you know of an artist interested in exhibiting in the Montgomery County Studio Tour?

 

The first-ever Montgomery County Studio Tour will be held on Saturday, June 10th, and Sunday, June 11th, 2017. The artists who participate stand out among their peers and are award-winning artists who have been recognized by local and international galleries. If you know someone who fits this description, has a studio in Montgomery County, or who would like to participate as a guest artist on the tour, APPLY NOW!

 

This unique two-day event creates an intimate opportunity and unlimited access to art studios for patrons and art collectors of Montgomery County and surrounding area artists. This highly-publicized show in Chester County sold more than $175,000 of artwork last year.

 

ARTISTS MUST APPLY by the February 15th Deadline.

Marjorie Grigonis is a painter who has spent 15 years as an art teacher, a professor at several colleges and universities. Currently she works in her studio in Philadelphia, where she belongs to the 3rd Street Gallery, a co-operative which she supports. In the 70's she was a founding member of an artists co-op in NYC. Her work is abstract, both in painting and drawing. They sometimes combine in mixed media with collage. These works may include fragments from the collection of memorabilia in her studio. Her work has been influenced by travel, Morocco, Mexico, and repeated trips to Japan and Europe
