Specto Art Space is a new gallery coming to the Harrisonburg, VA area this fall. Harrisonburg is home to Virginia’s first Arts & Culture district, and its only culinary district. Boasting over one million visitors every year, Harrisonburg is a wonderful center of art and Specto is excited to add to it.

Specto believes in supporting artists. We think that everyone should have the chance to share their work, that’s why we welcome all, from the hobbyist to the professional. We also aim to make sharing your art as easy as possible. We believe if it’s easier to share art there will be more art in the world. As such, Specto prints, mats, and frames all shows for FREE. Specto is committed to providing more opportunity to more artists, and as such we have made it so near or far anyone can share their work in our corner of the world. The only cost associated with applying is our application fee of $30. This fee allows Specto to share monthly high quality exhibitions, as well as continue to grow promote the artists and exhibitions we’re passionate about.

These environments might be fairy-tale forests or the sites of biological disasters. Perhaps both.
