CALL FOR ENTRIES – Philadelphia TriState Artists Equity – Fall 2018 Juried Show

Juror: Thora Jacobson -directed the Fleisher Art Memorial from 1983-2010, opening The Center for Works on Paper, expanding Fleisher’s program offerings, and overseeing improvements to the historic building. She then brought her talents to Philagrafika, an organization intent on increasing opportunities for working artists, particularly printmakers. Today, Thora helms the Philadelphia Art Alliance and continues to foster contemporary local artists while forging connections between art and the greater Philadelphia community.

Note: Submission is open only to members of Philadelphia TriState Artists Equity. Artists may join Artists Equity at artistsequity.org, and pay membership fee. Artists Equity has 2 juried members show per year, and AE does not charge a fee for submission for any members show.

Artists may submit up to 3 artworks for jurying. Awards include cash prizes and solo show opportunity at Main Line Unitarian Church.

THEME: CONNECTIONS
A Connection can be expressed as relationship, go-between, attribution, joining, juxtaposition, passageway, unifying.

Delivery of Artwork for Jurying: September 13- 12:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m.
notification of acceptance by email or phone: September 19
Pickup for work not accepted: September 20, 2-7pm
Opening Reception Sunday September 23 2-4pm
Show: September 23 – October 21, 2018
