Call for Entry: Wearable Art

This Deadline Expired: Saturday, April 7, 2018

April 9th through May 18th, 2018

The Exchange Gallery calls artists and imaginative sew-ers of all ages and levels of experience to design and make a piece of wearable art — any item from a pin to a full-sized ensemble! You may use any fabric, yarn, applique, or any other material you wish; we encourage the use of recycled stuff. The item must be able to be WORN on the body, in any possible way that the artist chooses. No entry fee, price as set by the artist; artist receives 80% of the sale price.

Work due Saturday, April 7th

Reception Saturday, April 28th (same day as Bloomsburg’s Renaissance Jamboree), 6-8 p.m., simultaneous with Artspace Gallery’s reception for “Lines and Circles”, work by Beth Aten, Sandy Lentz & Bob McCormick; bring your friends and family to buy your work, supporting you and us!

Stay tuned for more information about Bloomsburg University’s PADME event: “Personal Adornment Day and Make-up Extravaganza”, to take place on Thursday, April 26th.
