Call for Sculpture Challenging Existing Structures: Exhibition Juried by Alice Oh

Call for Sculpture Challenging Existing Structures: Exhibition Juried by Alice Oh

This Deadline Expired: Monday, January 20, 2020

“Subversion” is the second collaborative exhibition between Da Vinci Art Alliance and Philadelphia Sculptors, following “Shelter” in 2018. For “Subversion”, artists are encouraged to take their passions and direct them into artwork that pushes back. You don’t need to join a march, stand behind a barrier, or be a whistleblower. As an artist you can make your art speak for you.

We are looking for sculptures that in some form undermine or challenge social structure, morals, traditions, authority or any existing or established systems (including the art world). This is your chance to be provocative – take advantage of it!
