Compendium: (Land)scapes (Bethlehem, PA)

Following the inaugural Compendium exhibition in 2017, ArtsQuest and the Banana Factory Arts Centers follows up in 2018 with Compendium: Landscapes. In addition to highlighting the Artist Collective Program year round programing, this exhibition features work from current members and seeks addition artists to participate in the growing network of local and regional artists.
land·scape ˈlan(d)ˌskāp/noun
1 : the landforms of a region as a whole
2 : a portion of territory that can be viewed at one time from one place
3 : a particular area of activity: the political landscape

Compendium: (Land)scapes asks artists to consider the breadth of landscape as a genre and it’s ever expanding forms. The interpretation of “landscape” need not be limited to representational depictions, but can also include landscapes that are fictional, psychological, imaginary, environmental, etc.
The exhibit will be juried by the Visual Arts Team at the Banana Factory: Stacie Brennan, Hillary Harper, and Nicole Gencarelli, as well as the Gallery Committee, made up of Ricardo Viera, Jeffrey Ludwig-Dicus, Nicki Stager, David Sestak and Ian Summers.
