Create! Magazine Is Pleased To Announce An International Open Call For The Print Issue #25 Juried By Danielle Krysa.

Have your work seen by 200,000+ readers and followers around the world, including leading galleries, art fairs, collectors, curators, writers, art consultants, and more. 

A portion of all submission fees will go to the Tessera Arts Collective and Black Girls Who Paint.

About the guest curator: Danielle Krysa has a BFA in Visual Arts, and a post-grad in graphic design. She is the writer/curator behind the contemporary art site, The Jealous Curator (est.2009), and has curated art shows from Washington DC to Los Angeles, San Francisco to Toronto. Danielle creates her own artwork as well – mixed media collages which combine found images, paint, and as much humor as she can pack into each title. When she’s not in the studio, Danielle is writing books : “Creative Block”, “Collage”, and “Your Inner Critic Is A Big Jerk” were the first three, and her fourth book, “A Big Important Art Book – Now with Women”, was released in October of 2018. Danielle has also had the great pleasure of speaking at TEDx, PIXAR, Creative Mornings, CreativeLive, and was interviewed for several video segments on oprah.com.

Rachel Blythe Udell works with fibrous materials to create biomorphic sculptures and embroidered collages. She has had a solo show at Grounds For Sculpture and exhibited in a three-person show at the Perkins Center for the Arts, both in New Jersey. In Philadelphia, she has shown her work at venues such as the Painted Bride, International House, and the Crane Arts Center. Additionally, the Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation invited her to create a fiber art installation at Lemon Hill Mansion in Fairmount Park. Udell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Art History, and has studied art and art therapy at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She lives and works in Collingswood, New Jersey
