Dek Unu Magazine – May 2019 Edition

Dek Unu Magazine – May 2019 Edition

This Deadline Expired: Saturday, April 20, 2019

Unique solo-format English-language journal of fine art photography calls for portfolio submissions for its May, 2019, edition. Each issue of Dek Unu contains an extended portfolio and in-depth interview with only one artist, themed and curated by each artist alone. Non-profit, non-advertising, and unusually artist-centric, Dek Unu provides a respectful and respectable place for accomplished, adventurous photography. Current issue, back issue archive, and complete guidelines for submission are at https://www.dekunumag.com.

My artwork talks quietly about the underlying significance of the domestic sphere on artist production. It argues for the relevance of craft, specifically ceramics and fiber arts, by creating a conversation between the two mediums. Displaying a fascination with the way fiber marks clay, my ceramics exhibit just how subtle those marks can be.
