Jackson’s Open Painting Prize (London, UK)

This Deadline Expired: Friday, March 16, 2018

The Jackson’s Open Painting Prize exists to recognise and appreciate original, 2-dimensional fine art works in any painting, print-making or drawing media. Now in its 3rd year, this prestigious annual competition offers £10,000 in prizes, an online showcase and a physical exhibition for selected finalists at the Hampstead Affordable Art Fair, London, for both emerging and established artists. We welcome entries from artists in any country and of any age.

In 2016, Jackson’s ran it’s inaugural major art prize. The Jackson’s Open Art Prize (JOAP 2016) received 3000 entries from all over the world, with many exceptional submissions that excelled in originality and craftsmanship. The prize has been renamed to further distinguish our selection criteria from photographs, 3D sculptural works and computer generated or manipulated works.

This year, the Jackson’s Judging Panel will select approximately 350 works as a shortlist which will then be split into categories and judged by a panel of leading figures from the art world. For more information and to apply: https://www.jacksonspaintingprize.com/
