Managing Director, Media Arts Council

The Media Arts Council is seeking a part time managing director to manage our gallery, oversee programs and support fundraising and grant writing beginning in June 2017. MAC is a dynamic arts center in the heart of Media, PA. It runs monthly art openings, the Media Film Festival, education and special programs and two juried shows annually. With our current director retiring and our organization maturing the new candidate will have the opportunity to work with the board to re-shape the job and direct the growth of the council.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate supporter of the arts, an efficient organizer, good writer, skilled technology user and someone who enjoys working with a variety of volunteers, artists, and patrons. Fund raising experience is a huge plus. This is a part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week) with the option of working from home for part of that time. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Please send cover letter and resume to president@mediaartscouncil.org
