MURAL ARTIST OPPORTUNITY AT COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL (Philadelphia, PA)

MURAL ARTIST OPPORTUNITY AT COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL (Philadelphia, PA)

This Deadline Expired: Friday, January 26, 2018

Colliers Philadelphia, located in Ten Penn Center at 1801 Market Street in Center City is the local headquarters for 6 regional offices of Colliers International throughout the tri state region. We have a strong history of operations in Philadelphia dating back to 1920. Recently, we have undergone an office redesign to a modern open and collaborative office space plan. The design features a clean and minimal aesthetic incorporating bold modern pops in brand centric colors throughout – cyan blue, yellow and red.

In conjunction with this recent change, Colliers is seeking input and ultimate work from capable mural artists to create modern scenes meaningful to the Philadelphia region, our history and future or values as a firm in 3 locations throughout our office. The finished product will provide an eye catching and invigorating welcome to our space and work areas and must be mindful of our corporate branding and office design – but not necessarily “match” it.

Colliers would expect the presentation of a mural concept once chance for a brief tour of the office and conversation with the artist by the internal stakeholders has been completed.

For details on wall dimensions, etc, please visit: https://spark.adobe.com/page/FfvotlMjjcbd1/

Location
The primary and largest mural will be located in our main entry. There are also two smaller locations in the office general work area and the marketing department for which we have interest in a mural treatment.

Dimensions and surface of wall
The wall dimensions of all three areas are in the attached sketch. Surfaces are primarily drywall. There is a glass break halfway through the lobby wall we will need to creatively work with.

Budget
Colliers has approximated a general range between $15-$30/sf but final cost will be determined in conjunction with artist and based on factors such as complexity, timing, and experience.

Timeline
We would like this project completed within the first quarter of 2018.

Deadline for applications and contact:
Interested artists should email Elizabeth.Brand@colliers.com with a link to their relevant work or professional CV and a statement of interest along with an initial concept no later than Friday, January 26, 2018. Colliers will invite the selected artist(s) to a brief tour of the office and conversation before the submission of a specific design for Colliers’ approval.
