OPPORTUNITY TO EXHIBIT! ARTEXPO NEW YORK 2018 with NYC4PA

This Deadline Expired: Thursday, March 1, 2018

NYC4PA has booked gallery space at ArtExpo 2018 in New York City to offer photographers an opportunity to exhibit in a large New York Art Showcase. The dates are April 19 – 22, 2018. E mail us for specifics about deposits, timing etc. but meanwhile below is the basic information about how this will work.

——————————————————————-

ArtExpo New York is a major four day art event, held annually, in a huge exhibition space at Pier 94 on Manhattan’s West Side. Photography has joined sculpture, painting, pastels etc. as a significant presence at the venue. Patricia and Maddi have both exhibited there individually, have sold work and made contacts in the art world. We think it offers a great opportunity for a limited number of photographers to present their work in a venue where traffic over the four days reaches the tens of thousands, including many from the trade. (the first of the four days is reserved for trade).

ARTEXPO is scheduled for April 19 – 22, 2018.

The offering:

1 – Wall space in a heavily trafficked area

2 – Promoting through NYC4PA and Art Expo

3 – Curating, hanging

4 – NYC4PA representation in the booth at all times

5 – Sales

6 – Repack/return within the continental US, of images that do not sell. (There will be a surcharge for International returns)

7 – Packing and shipping of those that do sell where the purchaser does not take the image with them. The purchaser will be responsible for shipping costs.

8 – Collecting of contact information and follow up with visitors that expressed interest in an artists work.

Cost:

1 – $800 smaller square – 20×22 inches
2 – $1500 long or tall rectangle – 44x 22 or 20×48 inches
3 – $2800 large square 44×48 inches
4 – Plius 20% Commission on sales to NYC4PA

E mail us at nyc4pa@gmail.com for specifics regarding deposits, timing of payments and delivery of artwork, artists responsibilities as well as any other questions you may have.

What elevates his work from mere craftsmanship is his visionary outlook. Rearranging objects and incorporating an iconography of myths, fairy tales, and personal idiosyncrasies, Warren Muller exudes an envious agility. Motion, change and improvisation are implied like a glimpse of chaos captured and frozen for a split-second.
