The Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy (OACCE) announces a $103,000 Percent for Art opportunity for Mann Rivera Renovation Project. This is a public art opportunity for the exterior perimeter wall of the Mann Rivera Center along Allegheny Avenue and 5th Street. The art could include a mosaic installation, mural, or other sculptural elements. Artists who live or work in the local community around Mann Rivera will be prioritized for this opportunity, but any artist may apply.
Virtual Artist Meeting/Workshop
January 7, 2021
Register for the meeting here
OACCE strongly encourages local artists, new and emerging artists, and artists of color to apply for this opportunity. OACCE will hold a virtual artist meeting/workshop for those artists interested in learning more about the Percent for Art program and will walk through the process and application for the Mann Rivera Percent for Art opportunity. The meeting will include a Spanish interpreter and former Percent for Art artists who can answer questions about their experience. OACCE will also work with Artists to develop digital images of the artists’ works of art, if needed, to include in the application.
