Pink Noise Projects Summer Studio Program

Pink Noise Projects Summer Studio Program

This Deadline Expired: Monday, May 16, 2022

Pink Noise Projects is pleased to announce the opening of their application period for the Pink Noise Projects Summer Studio Program.

Applicants can apply for PNP’s month-long Summer Studio Program, utilizing our gallery space to advance projects, research, or other types of creative activity. There are 2 studio series slots available: one is available for the month of June 2022, and the other is available for the month of July 2022.

Applications open April 15, 2022 and close May 16, 2022.

The past two years have affected every single person on the planet, in ways that we’re all still struggling to comprehend. PNP’s Summer Studio Program will enable the collective to gift their gallery to makers to allow space for reflection, investigation, and renewed creative output. The program wishes to recognize the struggle of the past two years, which continues to affect us all, and create new opportunities for creativity, connection, and contemplation.
If selected you’ll have full access to their space! Submissions of all kinds are welcomed including ones that advance your current projects, research, or other types of creative activity. Be part of a collective that cares.

Be sure to check out PNP’s website to learn more.

Sandra's colorful and expressive abstract paintings and collages are about "place", and take inspiration from the landscape - While the artworks are not a representation of any specific location, they oftentimes are evocative of landscape. She invites the viewer to engage with her artworks through memory, imagination, and reverie. Working with oil paint, oil pigment sticks, watercolor and other media, her paintings and collages have been described by a curator as “visceral and expressive”.
