This Deadline Expired: Monday, July 15, 2019
The Rust Belt, its people, the pride and the struggles, the patina of the past and above all, the histories and memories ingrained in the soil across the region. It is time to make new memories and new histories, while revisiting and reevaluating old ones; it is time to start a new dialogue about the state of photography and it’s social, cultural and political effects in our society; it is time to give back to the photographic community but also the region;
The Rust Belt Biennial is looking to feature photo books! They are looking for the following:
1. Photo books made by artists who live within the Rust Belt Region.
2. Photo books made about the Rust Belt, its people, history and/or its landscape by artists who live in the Rust Belt Region or outside of it.
Please send them a PDF or sample jpegs that represent your zine, monograph, hand made or traditional book with a short description – indicate where are you located, when it was made, and a description of the book and the work in it to info@rustbeltbiennial.com
