SPACELAB: An interstellar Exhibit of Glass Art

The National Liberty Museum is now extending an open call to ARTISTS to submit artwork for our Spacelab Exhibit, July 6 – September 7, 2018.

The National Liberty museum invites emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to participate in the upcoming group exhibit entitled SPACELAB: An interstellar Exhibit of Glass Art.
We are looking for a diverse body of artwork with a main focus on glass. The GlassAccess Gallery at the National Liberty Museum will advertise and promote the artists selected for the exhibition and host a formal opening reception.

Artists who use glass as their primary medium are invited to submit their works which relate to the theme of outer space, and everything it implies.

In my years as a visual artist I have chosen symbolic forms that are both universal and personal to express the idea of “time.” Often I use nests, eggs, marine creatures, and one-celled organisms. They are symbols for natural phenomenas that manifest this notion of time.
