The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (CIFAC) is an opportunity for both amateur and professional artists to submit their artwork for a chance to exhibit in New York City and receive valuable promotional benefits as well as cash prizes.

The work of selected artists will be presented at Agora Gallery, an elegant street-level space located in the heart of the Chelsea arts district next to the High Line in New York City. Agora Gallery attracts thousands of visitors with its welcoming interiors and striking exterior. Marjorie Grigonis is a painter who has spent 15 years as an art teacher, a professor at several colleges and universities. Currently she works in her studio in Philadelphia, where she belongs to the 3rd Street Gallery, a co-operative which she supports. In the 70's she was a founding member of an artists co-op in NYC. Her work is abstract, both in painting and drawing. They sometimes combine in mixed media with collage. These works may include fragments from the collection of memorabilia in her studio. Her work has been influenced by travel, Morocco, Mexico, and repeated trips to Japan and Europe

Jessica Demcsak creates sculptural paintings on various types of wood that focus on the rise of storms due to climate change. Most of her subject matter is architectural in nature however she lalso breaks down the various elements into abstract line and shape. Demcsak photographs places that have endured catastrophic storms and uses them in her paintings such as Hurricane Katrina, Sandy, and Maria.
