The Pennsbury Society (501 C 3) at Pennsbury Manor Historic site seeks qualified applicants for their Education Program Coordinator position. This permanent, full-time position reports to the Historic Site Administrator.
General Duties:
- Develop, schedule, implement, and evaluate school programs at Pennsbury including an active school tour program, “William Penn’s World”, “By-the- Days,” and “Manor House to School House.” Responsible for maintaining records for school visitation, and building a successful network of teachers and other leaders in education. Assist the Volunteer coordinator in scheduling volunteers for both school programs and general tours. Works closely with the Museum Educator.
- Develop, schedule, implement, and evaluate programs designed for family and youth audiences including homeschool programs, and scouting programs.
- Work with the Museum Educator and other senior staff on special projects such as grant applications and projects.
- Assist with daily operation of the Visitor Center, tours and all major programs and projects at Pennsbury Manor including public events, daily tours, exhibit development, volunteer training, research, and other duties as assigned.
