About the Studio Community

The philosophy that drives their selection of individuals is rooted in their mission to infuse art and creativity into their community as we welcome all who seek to experience art. Secondly, their philosophy is cemented in a sense of community where proactivity, public engagement, diversity of ideas, perspectives, and artistic practice are honored, respected, and achieved. Their 26 mixed-use studio spaces of galleries, artist studios, and art incubators, are accessible to the public by appointment and during extended hours on first Friday Art Loops – open studios on Art Loop tend to be a big draw for attendees! Studios range from 275 square feet to 550 square feet. Some studios include skylights, while others contain a wall of windows to maximize the advantage of natural light. Current media represented include ceramics, painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.
