Three States of Glass – Call for Artists

Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley, PA seeks glass artists from Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia for Three States of Glass. This exhibition will highlight contemporary concepts and techniques explored by glass artists today, as well as the amazing talent of artists in our region. More information here.

Since the American Studio Glass movement erupted in the 1960s, artists have amazed viewers with the strength and fragility of the material, their expertise in manipulating it, and the diversity of innovative and contemporary ideas they tackle using glass as their main medium. Three States of Glass brings together glass artworks from Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia that highlight contemporary concepts and techniques explored by glass artists today, as well as the amazing talent of artists in our region.

Juried by Rachel Delphia, The Alan G. and Jane A. Lehman Curator Decorative Arts and Design at The Carnegie Museum of Art.
