This Deadline Expired: Monday, January 27, 2020

Contemporary Glass from artists of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
Exhibition dates: March 19 – April 18, 2020.
Sweetwater Center for the Arts Gallery, Sewickley, PA.

Three States of Glass is juried by Rachel Delphia, The Alan G. and Jane A. Lehman Curator and Decorative Arts and Design Department head at Carnegie Museum of Art.

Since the American Studio Glass movement erupted in the 1960s, artists have amazed viewers with the strength and fragility of the material, their expertise in manipulating it, and the diversity of innovative and contemporary ideas they tackle using glass as their main medium. Three States of Glass brings together glass artworks from Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia that highlight contemporary concepts and techniques explored by glass artists today, as well as the amazing talent of artists in our region.
