Velocity Fund 2022

The Velocity Fund directly supports Philadelphia-based artists by awarding grants up to $5000. Open to a wide range of experimental practices, particularly those that emphasize collaboration between artistic genres.

The Fund is excited to support an expansive range of visual arts including photography, performance, video, cosmetology, fashion, ceramics, sand art, drawing, bookmaking, tattoo and body art, weaving, publications and bookmaking, culinary arts, crafts, installations, painting, mail art, printmaking, curatorial concepts, basketry, sculpture, calligraphy, social-engagement, woodworking, comics, murals, participatory events, glass, animation, neon, design, and more.

The Velocity Fund is administered by Philadelphia Contemporary and is supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts’s Regional Regranting Program.
