Visionary fiction anthology looking for writers + artists

This Deadline Expired: Sunday, July 21, 2019

submit your work to super / natural: cooperative anthology for visionary art + fiction ~

super / natural is a nod to “supernatural,” defined by google as “attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature.” by that definition, we are looking for submissions in the mystical realm – visionary and speculative fiction and illustration, sci-fi, fantasy, magical, witchy, spooky, or anything involving imagined futures/pasts/alternate dimensions.

also seeking submissions of the SUPER natural – as in going back to our true roots and the heart of our existence. this anthology will be a critical look at our relationship with the earth, and visions of what it could look like, and possibly what it once looked like.

works that confront & challenge societal inequalities are encouraged.

FREE to submit! and right now we are prioritizing fiction, poetry, & prose submissions, but other visual art submissions are welcome.

apply here: https://tinyurl.com/supernaturalzine or by emailing artopencalls@protonmail.com

deadline for visual art is june 21st, deadline for fiction, poetry, and prose is july 21. and print zine will be released september 21st.

Demetra Tassiou's work is inspired by the Greek culture and Art history and minimalistic and acute techniques used in Japanese art. Her artwork are imaginative reconnections with nature, sea, and the colorful environments that I have yearned for after moving to large urban American cities from the Mediterranean landscapes.
