Winter Fundraiser Gala

Winter Fundraiser Gala

This Deadline Expired: Sunday, December 1, 2019

Event Date: December 7th from 6-9pm

Event Location: Tabu Philly 254 S 12th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Submission fee: Free (donations encouraged)

One For All is holding their first fundraiser and all proceeds are going towards the downpayment of their own location. Once they obtain said location, One For All can begin to offer more affordable arts programming for the larger community, in addition to a shared studio space and gallery for professional emerging artists.

What does this mean for you? If one of your pieces is selected to be included in the fundraiser event, it will be part of a silent artwork auction where the bidding will start at $200.00. If sold, One For all will receive half the profit which will go towards their fundraising goal, and the other half you get to keep.

They are asking that the work you submit relate to the theme “workspace”. Having a space to work outside of the home is very important and sometimes crucial to many artists. This is why One For All is working so hard to find an affordable shared studio space for all artists to have access to. At this event, they would like the artwork on display to visually tell their guests not only what an artists workspace looks like, but also what if feels like to an artist to occupy that space.

All artwork at the event will be displayed on tabletop easels, so works submitted must be no larger than 16×20 inches. Sculptural works are accepted, but must be able to fit within a 20 inch cube.

To make a submission, in a PDF document please include high quality images of no more than two works in addition to an image list and a resume that includes your contact information and artist website. Please email your PDF document to Oneforallartists@gmail.com with a brief artist bio in the body, and the subject line that reads “ARTSUBMISSION”.

There is no submission fee required to participate in this artist call, however donations are always encouraged and greatly appreciated.

"The forms from nature that I have drawn from for these sculptures are taken from insect life-segmented, hard shelled bodies, robotic and armor coated, yet able to instantly take flight. The large scale of these otherwise small creatures comes from reality and fantasy of the prehistoric world."
