Farm Truck Philly.

This week, InLiquid spotlights 3D art – one of the many styles that will be appearing at Benefit v.13 on February 15. You can find an interview with four of the featured artists here.

In the midst of wrapping your spatial-temporal experience around sculptures and found-object pieces, don’t forget about the temporary, interactive 3D art in the Grey Area: i.e. the free food and drinks.

Enjoy our pre-party taste-sampler below:

Read the back of a craft beer bottle and it’s full of words that you might find in artist statements and exhibitions anywhere: color, texture, style. Dab your palette with some locally-based brews from Philadelphia Brewing Co. and discover the art of the ale

If you’re more attracted to substances of the sparkling variety, wander through glassworks as you sip from glassware filled with Palateur sparkling wine.

While the prices are heating up over fired designs in terra cotta, you can sample something fresh from the oven with pizzas by Rustica in Northern Liberties. Then nibble on some wraps from Soy Cafe – these mini soy sculptures will leave you feeling satisfied as a post-spinach Popeye.

In between admiring the handiwork of found object pieces, introduce yourself to the made-by-hand spreads provided by Farm Truck. The new Philadelphia food truck doubles as a mobile art gallery, transformed by the work of Gabe Felice.

These are just some of the businesses participating this year, but you can look forward to morsels from Marathon Grill, Philadelphia Distilling, and more.
