Exhibits & Events

Art of the State has been celebrating Pennsylvania artists and craftspeople for 58 years. This annual juried exhibition provides an opportunity for both established and emerging Pennsylvania artists to exhibit their art and receive statewide recognition.  In 2025, Art of the State will be open from Sunday, June 8^th through September 14, 2025.    

Presented by The State Museum of Pennsylvania in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation, Art of the State will offer cash awards for selected entries in the categories of Painting, Work on Paper, Photography & Digital Media, Sculpture and Craft.
