My journey as an artist began with a simple box of crayons and a quiet determination to stay inside the lines, finding comfort in order and boundaries. Today I have moved from staying inside the lines to intentionally stepping beyond thm, embracing the freedom and uncertainty of abstraction. Painting in the abstract allows me to stay present, follow my intuition, and express what words often cannot. Through layers, mark-making, and evolving forms, I explore emotion, connection, and the beauty of what lies just beyond the obvious.
Sally K. Eisenberg is an abstract artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A lifelong artist, she is drawn to the expressive possibilities of acrylics, mixed media, and works on paper. Through layers of light, color, and texture, her paintings explore connection, curiosity, and the emotional landscape of the human experience. Her intuitive process invites discovery, creating spaces where viewers can pause, reflect, and form their own personal interpretations.
Eisenberg has presented solo exhibitions at Da Vinci Art Alliance, Twenty-Two Gallery, and 1241 Carpenter + Artspace. Her work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions, including Pictor Gallery and Prince Street Gallery in New York City, as well as the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), Philadelphia Sketch Club, Naudain Art Collaborative, Moody Jones Gallery, CultureWorks, Fleisher Art Memorial, ArtSisters, Center for Emerging Visual Arts (CFEVA), 1241 Carpenter + Artspace, and the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences.
Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States.
