An exhibition of new artworks by Philidelphia based artists Matt Coombs and carrie r.

When an idea exists purely in the mind, it is limitless— unbound by rules, logic, or the constraints of reality. In this realm, it can take any form and evolve freely, full of possibility. However, when ideas remain confined within their echo chamber, they stay unchallenged, still just ideas. Once released into the physical world, ideas begin to take shape and solidify. This process involves the environment, culture, and unseen contexts that act as co-creators. As ideas are interpreted by others, they evolve into something larger than their original conception.

Through this exhibition, Information aims to represent this transformative process. Coombs' abstract paintings embody the elusive and ephemeral nature of thought, while carrie R's sculptures serve as the solidified personification of these ideas, shaped by both the artists and the outside world.

All Things Go featuring Matt Coombs and carrie R will be on view at Information from October 26th through November 23rd. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, October 26th, from 5-8 PM at 2024 E Westmoreland St., Philadelphia, PA.
