Art in City Hall, a program of the City’s Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy (OACCE), presents (re)FOCUS at City Hall, a juried exhibition in partnership with the Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA), a national organization once headquartered at Philadelphia’s own Moore College of Art and Design from 1983 to 1997. The exhibit features the work of 46 local women and gender nonconforming artists, amplifying the inclusive values of Philadelphia while exploring contemporary social issues, including: women’s empowerment, gender identity, equality, and much more. The exhibit is part of (re)FOCUS 2024, a citywide collaboration of over sixty large, small, and diverse visual arts organizations celebrating and reflecting on 50 years of feminism in the arts. City Hall’s exhibit is presented in the public halls of the 2nd, 3rd & 4th Floors, NE corner.
(re)FOCUS at City Hall was co-juried by Patti Jordan and Sarah Bloom, members of the Women’s Caucus for Art.
