Join Emily Zilber, Director of Curatorial Affairs & Strategic Partnerships at the Wharton Esherick Museum, for a fascinating preview of The Crafted World of Wharton Esherick, opening at the Brandywine Museum of Art on October 13, 2024, and on view through January 19, 2025. This exhibition explores the creativity of Wharton Esherick (1887 – 1970), the famed American artist best known as the father of the Studio Furniture Movement and features many objects never before seen except in Esherick’s home and studio. Discover these iconic objects and learn about the challenge of presenting and interpreting them in a museum setting.
