Blindsided brings together a selection of the artist’s most recent work that ranges from painting, drawing and print to sculpture and installation. Expressed through clever and compelling layering of images and objects, the space becomes a rendering of home arranged in unusual and unsettling ways.

Operating as symbolic and literal elements, common household items such as blinds, windows and siding are the materials used to compose the work while expounding upon the definition of “blindsided”.

Blindsided is meant to evoke discussion around our current domestic and global situation and shared feelings of fear, anxiety and disappointment which come as a result of betrayal.
