Lyn Godley's art explores the relationship between art, technology, and measured human reaction. Our world is dynamic and constantly changing. Her work attempts to portray that energy, bringing imagery to life through dynamic lighting technologies to create a deeper conversation through immersive engagement with the viewer and what that engagement provides – whether to calm, heighten focus, or excite. Her work at Jefferson University includes research on the impact of this work and how it can be used as a health intervention. Her newest bodies of work on view at Scotts Mills Gallery use the manipulation of watercolors and oil paint as a backdrop for animation via projection mapping, bringing dynamic life to the work.
