Decemberfest: Made in Mt. Airy
Join Mt. Airy CDC for our first annual holiday market, coming up on Saturday, December 16 (rain date December 17)! We’ll be hosting a makers’ market in Lovett Park, complete with food & drink, fire pits & s’mores, live music from a brass band (11:30am-2pm), ice sculpture, and a visit from Black Santa (12-3pm).
The brand new Mt. Airy Coffee Company will be out serving hot beverages (11am-1pm), alongside Young American Cider who will be there for the full day with both cold and hot cider. We’ll also have treats from Downtime Bakery, Hardy’s Funnel Cakes, and Aunt Verlea’s Pound Cakes.
Not only that, shops throughout the neighborhood will be open and offering festive cheer along with many gift items that are handmade right here in Mt. Airy! A list of participating local businesses and makers is below.
