Work in Eternity in an Hour includes previous relevant pieces and nine fully new works that begin with steel, and copper wool oxidation. The resulting monotype prints create a basic map of the neural-like networks that are then embellished with gold and copper leaf and watercolor mediums. The result is an intricate sensorium inspired by the mycorrhizal network. These complex pieces mimic the matrix of galactic space, brain synapses, and other human, and non-human body systems. Symmetry, common in the awe-inspiring wonders of nature, and a captivation with the complex networks of science drive the thematic elements of Eternity in an Hour.
