Matter and Energy
In their 2023 biennial at Cheltenham Center for the Arts, 17 artists of Artessa Alliance interpret concepts of "Matter and Energy” utilizing their own creative perspectives. Energy becomes the external force that transforms materials of matter into works of art. Artessa artists utilize various natural and human-made mediums to communicate emotional, psychological, and spiritual forms. Their shared goal is transforming this matter through the buoyant energy of creative expression, fostering interconnectedness with each other and the world in which we all live.

A public reception will take place on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served.
