Mural Arts Philadelphia celebrates its 40th anniversary with Mural Arts Fest: Roots & Reimagination, launching Mural Arts Month. The festival honors the organization's rich history of community engagement and artistic innovation, while envisioning the future of public art in Philadelphia. Curated by Medina Oyefusi, the event features performances by local talents like local talent and Djs and a vendor marketplace. Attendees can also engage with food trucks, family-friendly activities led by each programmatic department and local artists, and the American Red Cross booth. The festival highlights mini-murals from the "To The Polls" project, promoting civic engagement through art.
