The Philadelphia Print Consortium is pleased to announce the second annual printPHILLY! print fair, representing over 50 individual artists, print shops, collectives, and non-profit spaces. This event focuses on printmaking as a vital, contemporary art medium, as well as one of historic significance to the city of Philadelphia.This one-day fair will be held Saturday April 20, 2024, at the University of the Arts - Dorrance Hamilton Hall / Solmssen Court, 320 S. Broad Street on Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts. It is FREE and open to the public from 10am – 3pm. Visitors can interact with a range of printmakers, print-publishers, and print-focused galleries and nonprofits and will have the opportunity to purchase original prints from a wide variety of artists and shops using both innovative and traditional techniques which are a hallmark of the medium.Guest Presentation: PPC is proud to host guest speaker Paola Morsiani, Director of the Brodsky Center at PAFA, in a lecture discussion about the print collection at the Brodsky Center. This presentation will take place in an adjacent room at the printPHILLY! event at 11am.Tour of the UArts Printmaking Studios: Lori Spencer, Director of the MFA Program in Book Arts and Printmaking at UArts, will lead a tour of the printmaking studios at 1:30pm
