It’s that time of year again! Barnes on the Block presented by PNC Arts Alive, and in partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia, returns for another round of outdoor fun for the entire family.

This year, the Barnes is offering a fresh perspective on two important modern painters with their newest exhibition, Matisse & Renoir: New Encounters at the Barnes, on view in the Roberts Gallery during the event. Plus, join them in celebrating the 40th anniversary of Mural Arts Philadelphia, the nation’s largest public art program.

Meet them on the Parkway for visual art displays, family-friendly art making, live performances, food trucks, a beer garden, and more!

This event is free, but registration is required to access the Barnes collection and Matisse & Renoir. Registration for timed admission to the Barnes galleries will open at 10am on Thursday, July 11.
