The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) is excited to announce that it will continue its flag exhibitions at Spruce Street Harbor Park on the Delaware River Waterfront.

For the second time, sixteen (16) selected artists will have large pennant flags printed and produced by the DRWC. These flags will be hung as part of an outdoor exhibition in Spruce Street Harbor Park for the 2025 Spring and Summer seasons. DRWC will cover all production costs; each recipient will receive a $300 honorarium.

Thematic Propmpt

For our second call for proposals, we invite national and international artists to submit flag design proposals that center on the theme of "states of change." We ask for proposals that reflect the perpetual movement and flux of urban landscapes and the flags themselves, from the subtle shifts to powerful transformations. These designs should symbolize the ever-changing nature and resilience of urban life. It's important to note that a more specific sub-theme of "states of change" will arise from the selected applications, allowing for a diverse exploration of the theme through the submitted flag design proposals. We encourage artists to explore a wide range of interpretations.
