Unanchored Geometry
A belief in the geometric underpinnings of our universe is a longstanding tradition across many cultures. Geometry often holds symbolic meaning, existing as both purely mathematical and as a representation of some larger idea. Unanchored Geometry is an exhibition of artwork by five contemporary artists whose work expresses the underlying geometry in natural structures, or uses geometry to convey complex ideas. It combines a delight in pure visual form, and creates an emotional and intellectual resonance.
