My work can be traced back to my own personal history and experiences, yet rather than being personal symbols, it is a product of a collective memory that I share with the viewer. Sculpting, painting, and photographing the miniature, I create domestic interior scenes that examine the psychology of space and the ideas of self and other, queer identity, desire, love, loss, sanctuary and transcendence.
